If the General Assembly does not restore money to the state's budget, Children's Advocacy Centers will lose the funding they receive from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. What that means is the 38 Centers that served over 11,000 sexually and severely physically abused children last year will close their doors. They will not be able to provide the comprehensive services children need during such a traumatic ordeal.

CALL OR EMAIL YOUR LEGISLATORS AND TELL THEM OUR CHILDREN NEED THEIR SUPPORT. If the budget does not increase, services to our children will be eliminated.
